Two Ingredient Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken

Two ingredients and only two minutes of preparation and you are on your way to deliciousness.  This recipe lets us be lazy and still look like superstars in the kitchen.   Chicken and salsa go together like drums and drumsticks and depending on the mood you can make this dish mild or spicy…let’s get started!


Here is what you will need:

  • Crock Pot/Slow Cooker
  • 4 medium (and trimmed) boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups salsa (mild, spicy, or flaming hot…whatever you want)


Here is how you’ll do it:

  1. Place chicken breasts in crock pot and cover with 2 cups of salsa
  2. Heat for 4 hours on high (or 6-8 hours on low)
  3. Shred chicken with a fork (it will be super easy, it will literally fall apart)
  4. Stir together with salsa in crock pot and serve 🙂
